Inspection Guidelines

Attention to Bidders: During demonstrations, various equipment pieces may be interconnected. Do not assume a group constitutes more than one item merely because they are linked. Base your bid on the described item, not the one depicted in the photo.

Equip-Bid strives to provide accurate descriptions and corresponding photos. In the event of a listing error, the description, not the photo, will determine the won item. If you detect a discrepancy, contact Equip-Bid for clarification and error notification.

All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with NO WARRANTY, either expressed or implied by the assigned lot number. This sale caters to the business community, offering equipment and inventory without any implicit or explicit warranty. While descriptions are believed to be accurate, they are not guaranteed. If uncertain about an item’s condition or use, bid accordingly.

Warranty and Item Condition

Four Levels of Product Detail

  1. Factory Sealed: Brand new, unopened, original product in the original box. We stand by the described listing. As it is “new,” we haven’t verified functionality/internal damage. Inspection/testing is permitted before departure. No refunds post pick-up; contact the manager immediately with concerns.
  2. Appears New: Item seems unused and in new condition. It may or may not be in the original box. It should function as expected. We inspect for the following:
  3. Open Box: Encompasses various conditions—incomplete, pre-owned, new but unverified, untested, possibly fully functional, or DOA (dead on arrival). Inspection is advised before bidding. Open Box items are non-returnable and sold as-is. Preview during designated hours is recommended; call for inquiries.
  4. Damaged: These items have known damage. We strive to describe/depict the damage but do not test functionality. They could be unused/owned items with shipping damage, such as a grill with lid damage. Preview during scheduled hours is encouraged; call for questions. Damaged items are non-returnable and sold as-is.

*Unmarked items are considered “open box or damaged.”
